Incident Blotter

On 06/22/2017 CPD units were dispatched to the area of Burkhart Ave after a resident reported finding buildings and structures had been spray painted overnight. Anyone with information leading to the ID of the person(s) responsible is asked to contact the Chambersburg Police Dept.

Incident Type:

On 6/22/2017 at 6:54 pm a black leather wallet was found at 155 W Catherine St. The wallet contained a Texas ID Card belonging to Joshua Smalls. The owner of the wallet may respond to Chambersburg Police Department to claim their property.
On 6-5-17 a white LG Boost Mobile cell phone was found and turned over to the Chambersburg Police Department. The screen saver on the phone had a picture of a Hispanic family. The owner can pick up the phone at CPD with proof of ownership.
On 06/02/17 A gold bracelet with white and black diamonds was found on the sidewalk in front of Chambers Apothecary. The owner of the bracelet can retrieve it at the Chambersburg Police Department.
On 5/20/17 Chambersburg Police located a set of keys in the parking lot at 642 Lincoln Way West, Dilly's. The owner can claim their keys at the police station.
On 4/24/2017, a resident reported that she was contacted on Facebook & Messenger from someone claiming to be her Aunt. The "Aunt" informed her that she had won a large sum of money, but that she needed to arrange for the money to be sent UPS. The unknown person wanted the resident to send money...
