The Chambersburg Police would like to inform the public that if anyone contacts you and states that they need you to send them money for any reason or a warrant will be issued for your arrest DO NOT send money, it is a scam.  No police dept. will call you demanding payment and threaten you with a warrant if that payment is not made.   

Chambersburg Police have also recently taken several reports of fraud related to Unemployment Benefits.  If you are receiving benefits or have applied for benefits please be aware of who you are sharing your information with.  For more information check out the PA Unemployment website, https://www.uc.pa.gov/Pages/Report-Fraud-Here.aspx.
