The Chambersburg Police Department conducted targeted traffic details in two areas during the month of February.  The first location was the 400-600 blocks of Lincoln Way West.  Officers conducted 71 details that covered different times throughout the day and night and issued 26 citations for speeding.  Approximately 1,000 vehicles passed through the details per week.  The second location for the targeted enforcement was around the Chambersburg Area High School where officers conducted 45 details and issued 28 parking tickets to motorists that were in violation of the No Parking, Standing or Stopping signs that were placed around the school to keep the students safe.
