On 1-5-23 at approximately 1203 hrs, The Chambersburg Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Wayne Ave for a pedestrian accident involving 2 pedestrians.  Initial investigation revealed that both pedestrians were struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the roadway mid-block and outside of a crosswalk.  Both subjects sustained serious injuries but at this time the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.  Additionally, both subjects were flown from the scene to a trauma center.
