On 8/19/2025 CPD officers were dispatched to speak to a victim of a hit and run. Officers spoke with the victim, who advised that her vehicle was parked on the unit block of N Federal St on the night of 8/18/2025 into the morning of 8/19/2025 and that at some point during the night her vehicle was struck. After watching video footage, officers observed the silver Mazda pictured above strike the vehicle. The vehicle was then observed committing multiple traffic violations.  Anyone with information as to the identity of the driver is asked to submit a tip through Crimewatch or call the Chambersburg Police at 717-264-4131.
