The Waynesboro Police Department has been made aware of a scam that is being sent via email (see attached picture). If you would happen to receive an email like this simply report it as spam. DO NOT give out any personal information, send any form of payment or respond in general.

>REQUESTING OF ITUNES CARDS , GOOGLE PLAY CARDS, OTHER GIFT CARDS

>WINNER OF AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF MONEY THROUGH EMAILS, LETTERS, TEXTS, ETC.  

NEVER GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE!
