Mark A. Shoop, Greencastle, has been charged with one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection after a traffic stop was conducted on June 1 at 7:31 a.m. on N. Broad Street.
Larry D. Taylor, Jr., Waynesboro, has been charged with sale or transfer of firearms and unsworn falsification after a firearm was attempted to be purchased on May 31 at 12:24 p.m. at a business on W. Main Street.
On June 25, a purse was found and turned into the Waynesboro Police. The purse was found in the 100 Block of Clayton Avenue. The purse may be claimed at police headquarters. A description needs to be provided before it can be returned to the owner.
