Project ChildSafe

What is Project ChildSafe?

Project ChildSafe is a nationwide program whose purpose is to promote firearms handling and storage practices among all firearms owners through the distribution of key safety education messages and free gun locking devices. The program is supported by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association of the firearms industry.

Gun locks are available per request at the police station (57 E. Main Street), Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.They are limited to 2 gun locks per person.
