**UPDATED INFORMATION** Robbery at CVS Pharmacy

On 08/12/18 at approximately 1053 hours, Waynesboro PD responded to 406 E. Main St. (CVS Pharmacy) for an active robbery.  Two black males entered the store and proceeded to the rear of the business towards the pharmacy.  One male suspect was a black male with short black hair, approximately 5’10” with a slim build, wearing a black shirt and dark grey pants.  The other male suspect was a black male with shoulder-length dreads, approximately 5’10” with a thin build, wearing a green checkered shirt and black pants with a white stripe on both sides.  The second suspect was also wearing a Brown backpack.  Both males were believed to be in their mid-twenties.  One suspect jumped over the counter of the pharmacy and stuffed two bottles of narcotics in a brown backpack.  Both suspects proceeded to flee the store and exit the scene fleeing south in the alley between Virginia Ave. and Myrtle Ave., according to witnesses.  No weapon was brandished during the time the robbery.  It is unknown whether or not a vehicle was involved in the offense.  Any individual with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Waynesboro Police Department.
