An unknown person forcibly entered a locked vehicle in the 200 block of E Queen St, stealing a purse from the back seat. The theft occurred between 10pm 09/26/2016 and 6:30am 09/27/2016. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Chambersburg Police Department.
On 9/30/16 Chambersburg Police responded to 1617 Orchard Drive for an accident. A tractor trailer driver had turned into the parking lot to turn around. During the turning maneuver he struck a light standard with his trailer. No one was injured.
On 9/30/16 Chambersburg responded to the 200 block of East Queen Street for a report of a subject staggering along the sidewalk. Units found Jeffrey Adams at the intersection of East Queen Street and South Third Street using a stone wall for support. Adams also only had on one shoe. Adams was found...
A Pennsylvania Identification Card belonging to Donna Bowers was found on the sidewalk on West Loudon Street near South Franklin Street. The identification card is at the Chambersburg Police Department and Ms. Bowers can come in and retrieve her property at any time.
