A blue anodized BMX style bicycle was found on the former Jennings car lot located at the intersection of N. Second St and Grant St. The owner of the bicycle can contact the Chambersburg Police Dept. to recover their property.

Case Status:

On 03/27/2018 at approximately 0018 hours, Chambersburg Police was dispatched to a residence on Kennedy Street regarding a domestic dispute. After investigating the complaint Paul Shipp was arrested for Aggravated and Simple Assault involving a knife. Shipp was lodged in the Franklin County Jail.
On 03/28/2018 at approximately 3 am Chambersburg Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Debra Stauffer after the vehicle was observed traveling the wrong way on South Second Street. Stauffer was subsequently taken into custody after failing a series of field sobriety tests...
On 04/04/2018 at approximately 1838 hours, Chambersburg Police were called to the Children's Aid Society for a report of a juvenile assaulting staff. Subsequently the juvenile was taken into custody by police and custody was transferred to Franklin County Children and Youth for detention.
UPDATE - POLICE HAVE LOCATED THE MISSING 15 YEAR OLD FEMALE AND THE INFANT CHILD PREVIOUSLY REPORTED ON CRIMEWATCH ON APRIL 4, 2018. THE CHILDREN ARE SAFE AND WERE NOT HARMED. CPD WISHES TO THANK THE PUBLIC FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING THE MISSING CHILDREN INVOLVED IN THIS INCIDENT.

A red and black Next mountain bicycle was found on the 100 block of East Vine Street. The bicycle has damage to the chain and is missing grips on the handle bars. The owners may claim the bicycle at the Chambersburg Police Department, with proof of ownership.
