Sometime during the day on Sunday, 09/03/2017, an unknown vehicle caused damage to the rear of a parked Chevrolet Impala in the 900 block of Wilson Ave. Anyone with information regarding this incident should submit a tip or notify the Chambersburg Police Dept. at (717) 264-4131

On Wednesday, 08/23/2017, two bicycles were recovered from the creek near the borough service center. The first bicycle is a red and black Mongoose. The second is a pink and purple Roadmaster Mt Climber. The owners of the bicycles can claim them at the Chambersburg Police Department.

Jean Jimenez-Latona was stopped for a vehicle code violation, near S. Federal Street and Lincoln Way West. Officers noticed signs and symptoms of recent drug usage. Jimenez was arrested for DUI and toxicology reports came back positive for Marijuana.

Charges:

On May 28, 2016 police responded to an incident on E Commerce Street. Upon arrival, contact was made with Johnathan Losh who was found lying on the sidewalk highly intoxicated. Losh was taken into custody and placed in the Franklin County Prison, to await arraignment.
On May 21st, police responded to Grandview Ave, in reference to a vehicle striking a utility pole, then leaving the scene. The driver, Clarence H. Bingaman, was found a short distance away. Bingaman was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

Charges:

On 5/31/16 at 2024 Hrs. CPD officers responded to 627 Harrison Dr. to investigate a female threatening another female with a butcher knife and an axe. The investigation resulted in criminal charges of Terroristic Threats and Disorderly Conduct being filed against Maria Perez.
