A Chambersburg resident reported that their debit card was compromised and someone used it to make six withdraws totaling $1,500 from ATM's in New Jersey. The Chambersburg Police Department and the bank are investigating the report.

Police responded to a single vehicle accident, at the Chambersburg Hospital's parking lot. The driver, Deborah Cutler, was found highly intoxicated and subsequently charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Police were notified, by Franklin County Adult Probation Officers, that during their routine duties they found Jennifer Walker in possession of a controlled substance. Chambersburg Police filed additional charges against Walker, who was turned back over to Adult Probation.
