Free Public Presentations (Active Shooter & Personal Safety)

As part of its continued commitment to community safety, the Chambersburg Police Department will be holding two free courses, that are open to the public, concerning citizen preparedness.

The first one is an Active Shooter Prevention & Response presentation on May 8 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The course will be held at Bard Hall, in the Chambersburg Recreation Center, 235 S. Third St.  Chambersburg, PA 17201.

The second is a Personal Safety/Situational Awareness course that will be given on May 22 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This class will also be held at Bard Hall, in the Chambersburg Recreation Center, 235 S. Third St. Chambersburg, Pa 17201.

These public informational sessions will be presented by Chief Ron Camacho. There is no cost for attending these important and timely classes. There is also no registration, just show up if you want to be taught some tactics and techniques to keep yourself safe in everyday life situations or when in an Active Shooter environment.
