CPD Releases Transparency Report for 2020

In order to be transparent with the public that it serves, the Chief of Police and the Chambersburg Police Department have released their agency transparency report for public review. This report provides information on calls for service answered, crimes reported to the department, crime clearance rate, arrests, traffic statistics, traffic arrests, and special traffic enforcement details conducted.

The report also provides summary information on departmental officers' use of force incidents for 2020 and a list of formal complaints made to the department for the year. In addition, the report also provides updated information on the Chambersburg Police Department's progress pertaining to the 5-year strategic plan.
