Multiple Access Device Fraud Incidents



On 11/4/2017 the Chambersburg Police responded to the F&M Bank, 150 Lincoln Way East, for a possible access device fraud case.  Through an investigation patrol officers learned that a white male suspect attempted to gain access to funds through utilizing a fraudulent card in an ATM.  Since the report of this incident the Chambersburg Police have received over seven other access device frauds, which are related to this incident.  The person of interest in this case has also committed similar crimes in the Carlisle, Hampton Township and Mechanicsburg Area.  The pictures attached to this release are of the person of interest and the vehicle used in the Borough of Chambersburg.  The vehicle is a 2017 GMC Terrain, black in color, with a Virginia registration of "VVK-5863".  The person of interest may also be riding a black mountain bike and wearing a black bicycle helmet.  He is typically dressed with a black shirt.  The person depicted in this photograph is a person of interest and not necessarily a suspect at this time.  If you have any information leading to the identity or whereabouts of the pictured person please contact the Chambersburg Police immediately or leave a tip on Crime Watch.
