On 11/13/2017 at 1509 hours Chambersburg Police responded to Orchard Dr to take a report of accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle. The accident occurred at 1409 hours on 11/13/2017 at the intersection of E Queen St and S Second St. The victim advised she was traveling east on E Queen St in her black colored Dodge. As she approached the intersection of S Second St she was positioned in the left lane. She advised a white colored sedan with unknown registration was positioned in the right lane of travel which is used for forward movement only. She advised the vehicle cut in front of her to turn north on S Second St. As the vehicle cut in front of her, the rear driver side quarter panel impacted the front passenger side bumper of her vehicle. She advised a white female was driving the striking vehicle. The vehicle continued driving north on S Second St after hitting the victim. Security camera footage was reviewed and the defendants registration was obtained. When officers made contact with the defendant, she admitted to leaving the scene after striking the vehicle. She also advised after the accident she returned to her home where she attempted to buff out the paint transfer on her vehicle.
