On 02/15/21 the Chambersburg Police Department was dispatched to 213 N Second St for a hit and run. The caller reported a grey SUV struck a parking meter and left the scene. A vehicle make and model was identified through pieces of the vehicle left behind from the collision. The driver of the vehicle, Sara Reese, contacted police the next day to report the crash. Reese was charged with one count Accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property (S).
