On May 15, 2022 at 12:21 A.M. The Chambersburg Police were dispatched to the intersection of Scotland Ave at Norland Ave for a vehicle accident. Officers arrived on scene and found the driver of a Honda had struck an ambulance that was traveling through the intersection. Borough Camera Footage showed the operator of the Honda failed to stop at a steady red signal which caused the accident. The driver of the Honda was identified as Thomas King. Thomas was found to be under the influence of alcohol which was confirmed after a blood draw was conducted and the toxicology report was obtained.
