On 11/21/18, Elizabeth Griswold was found slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle while in the Kohl's parking lot on Norland Ave. During the investigation, Griswold was found to have in her possession a used syringe, a cocaine based narcotic, and other empty glass vials that had contained controlled substances. Since Griswold was taken to the Chambersburg Hospital for medical treatment. Griswold left the hospital. Prior to leaving the hospital, she unlawfully took a large amount of medical supplies from her room. Griswold was ultimately charged with the possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft by unlawful taking.
