Matthew S. Stevens, no fixed address, has been charged with two counts each of access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and identity theft after prescription medication and money were reported stolen from a residence on Elder Avenue on July 16 at 10:11 a.m.
Caleb G. Jones, Hagerstown, Maryland, has been charged with driving under the influence, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and drivers required to be licensed after a traffic stop was conducted on July 11 at 2:23 a.m. on S. Potomac Street.
Jacob R. Barringer, Waynesboro, has been charged with one count each of theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief after it was reported to police on June 15 at 5:27 p.m. that a coin machine had been broken into at a business on W. Main Street.
On 08/05/2018 at approx. 0046, a traffic stop was conducted on Sarah Loraw for a traffic violation. During the stop Loraw exhibited signs of alcohol impairment and was subsequently arrested for DUI.
On 08/26/2018, Israel Negrete-Peralta was arrested for DUI and his BAC was found to be .240%. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle when Negrete reversed through a red signal onto S Main St, causing a police patrol vehicle to have to brake to avoid a collision.
