Between 1700 Hrs and 1715 Hrs on 06/07/2016, the owner/registration card for a 2004 Mazda MVP was stolen from the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the lot of the Southgate Mall. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact CPD.
On 6/11/16 at approximately 1200 hrs CPD units responded to Wayne Ave Plaza for a reported unconscious male. Upon arrival contact was made with Eric Hockenberry. Hockenberry was found intoxicated. Hockenberry refused to be seen by EMS personnel and started curing. As he was being taken into custody...
CPD responded to a single vehicle accident on the 200 block of N Coldbrook Avenue. Officers arrived to find an SUV over the embankment into the stream. The driver had left the scene of the accident but later returned. The driver subsequently taken into custody for a violation of probation.
On 06/10/16 at 1040 hours, CPD Units recovered a 20" Pink and Neon Green 20" Trouble Youth bicycle laying in the wooded area behind 49 Industrial Drive. The owner can claim the bicycle at Chambersburg Police Department, upon proof of ownership.
Update: The driver who was involved in this accident came forward and provided police with her information as being the driver who struck the signs and RR signal on Orchard Drive. Sometime during the evening hours of 6/9/2016 to 1100 hrs on 6/10/2016, an unknown vehicle was traveling west on...
