On 07/22/2016 A bicycle was found in the 200 block of E Washington Street, and brought to the police station. The bicycle is blue and silver in color, and is a Thruster Rage bike with mongoose tires. The bicycle can be picked up at the lobby of the police station with proof of ownership.
A borough resident received a scam letter advising they had won a sweepstakes, asked them to cash a fraudulent check, and return the money as a processing fee. The resident determined the letter was a scam before any action was taken. Citizens should be aware of such scams.
