On 12/25/18, CPD took a report of a found property. A PA driver's license belonging to Seth Perry was found in the 600 block of Lincoln Way E. The owner can claim the property at the Chambersburg Police Department.

On 12/20/2018, the owner of a Coca-Cola machine in the 400 block of N Second St reported that someone had broken the lock on the machine and stole approximately $60.00 of change. Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip on Crimewatch or contact Chambersburg Police.

On 01-27-2017 charges were filed against Roger Lee Gutshall Jr. after it was alleged he attempted to furnish drug free urine which he had concealed on his person during a visit to Franklin County Adult Probation.
On 01/26/2017 at 19:38, Wayne Smith was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages and then drove to Memorial Park. Smith was found to be under the influence of alcohol to a degree that he was unable to operate a vehicle safely. Smith was subsequently arrested for DUI.

On 1/29/17 Chambersburg Police responded to the unit block of Lincoln Way West for a disturbance. After the incident was investigated police determined that Jonathan Lascase and Harry Alexis had been physically fighting on the sidewalk. Citations were filed against both for Disorderly Conduct.
